I recently found myself at the Hyde Park Pub in Leeds (yes, I was older and less pierced than anyone else in sight). While ordering, the bar staff asked, "Got the Mixr app?" — Stonegate Group’s loyalty app. To her surprise I did. I scanned it, got an instant discount (think 'Clubcard price' for pubs), and now they have better data on me to keep me in the loop about future benefits. Good.
